Company
History
Since
its inception in the late 1980's SETWORKS has been offering
premier Music Preparation services to the music producing
community of Southern California and some regions outside
of California.
In early
1992 SETWORKS acquired the Erato Music Manuscriptor from
Erato Software, Salt Lake City, Utah, a move which dramatically
improved the quality and speed of all music production done
in-house. As the greater music-making community of Southern
California (Hollywood especially) has become aware of the
power and effectiveness of the Erato Manuscriptor SETWORKS
has been there to play a pivotal role in encouraging more
widespread use of the software to produce not only scores
for live performances and publication, but more importantly
scores and parts for any form of music recording and film
scoring.
Owned
and operated chiefly by Stephen
Tucker, an established conductor, composer,
arranger and orchestrator, SETWORKS has had its effectiveness
demonstrated to hundreds of musicians from orchestral players
to composers, orchestrators and even admiring lay persons.
Tucker uses the software for all music scoring requirements,
from simple part production for church performances to major
scoring jobs for movies or big budget recording projects.
As the
software has grown in popularity over the past years, many
in the movie industry of Hollywood are quickly becoming
converts to the Erato way of scoring and the software has
seen a surge in popularity of quantum proportions.
